The Sage Gateshead is designed to make access as easy as possible for all our visitors. We have many facilities to help make your visit a first class experience. We aim to be equally accessible to all who visit or perform here.
When arriving, booking tickets or if contacting us prior to your visit, please let any member of the Customer Service Team know any relevant information and access requirements you may have so they can help you enjoy all that The Sage Gateshead has to offer.

The Sage Gateshead was proud to win the Silver Award in the Access for All category of the 2010 Enjoy England Awards for Excellence, the highest accolade in English tourism.
Accessibility
The Sage Gateshead is fully accessible with a range of free mobility, parking and general visitor facilities.
Baby changing & nursing
Unisex baby changing facilities are available on every level of the building. Nursing mothers are welcome to nurse in the Café & all front of house areas
Cloakroom
We offer a free Cloakroom facility on the ground level of the building.
Parking
The Sage Gateshead operates a pay-on-exit car park to the rear of the building, there are 273 spaces available. This is open 24 hours a day with no maximum stay. This cash-only car park costs £1.50 per hour or after 5pm a fixed fee of £4 until 6am. There are 4 blue badge spaces in the Car Park and there is no charge for this, please contact the Cloakroom for a free exit pass.
Parking (disabled)
There are 26 reserved parking spaces for Blue Badge Holders to the immediate rear of the building, 3 to the West Side in the bus turning circle & 4 in the main Car Park.
